All back together again but rather confusing so I'm going to try and put what has been found in one post so we can see what needs searching for next.

Thomas Conroy and Ellen Ward married in Longford in 1870.

Children
1. Maria born 1873 Longford  married James Bell 1891
2. Peter born 1875 Dublin died 1918 unmarried, no children.
3. Kate born 1877 Dublin married James Melrose, had at least 2 children Mary and Laurence.
4. John born 1879 Dublin married Anne Wheeler 1910 had at least 3 children Mary, James and Anne
5. Henry born 1882 Dublin
6. Thomas born 1885 Dublin married Bridget Byrne 1908
7. Christopher born 1885 likely married Anne Donohoe 1910 at least 2 children Kate and Thomas.

I think next the children of each couple needs to be found and their marriages if possible and any trace of Henry.

A big thank you to all who posted relating to Peter Conroy. After a long absence a simple google search brought me back to RootsChat. I am a grand nephew of Peter and our family are currently corresponding with the CWGC. All the contributions were spot on. My Grandfather John was the sole survivor among all his brothers who served in the Boer War, India and WW1. He served in the Imperial Yeomanry, the Royal Irish Regiment and the South Irish Horse.

Henry died in Jhansi, India in 1907.   https://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv=try&db=UKArmyRegistersEffects&h=4101

Christopher served with Prince Albert's Own 11th Hussars and is buried in an unmarked grave in Woolwich Cemetery. Died 10th March 1921.

His twin brother Thomas  24455 served with the Royal Field Artillery and was injured at Aisne in 1915. He passed away in December 1922 and was interred in St. James Cemetery (now the location of the Pearse Lyons distillery) again in an unmarked grave.

The eldest brother James ,born 1871, has remained elusive for me. Although recorded as next of kin/legatee on Henry's soldiers effects, he doesn't receive anything so presumably died sometime before Henry in 1907.

Thanks Again

Thanks for letting us know.
Is there an address for James on the will?

Not sure if there is a will or not, just speculating from the details given ie. next of kin or legatee.
