Campbell /Ferguson Strachur/Strachlachan Argyll

I am looking for some information if anyone can help.My great grandfather was born in Strachur Argyll ,in 1871 his name was Donald Campbell Ferguson.he was born in April 1871.His mother was Jane Campbell born about 1851 in Strachur.My ggrandfather was born out of wedlock I think as his father wasn't registered on birth certificate,but we later found out on other documents his name was Archibald Ferguson and he was a farm Servant. This is the only information I know .i have been to Strachur and have got no further forward I'm wondering if any one can help as I am at a dead end with family tree thank you .
