Just remembered --- to answer your question properly sorry :(
(its the heat ha ha)

Many years a go now I had the best contact regarding the Hellyar family she was brilliant.  However she suffered a stroke and I have not been able to be in contact with her now for some long time.. I miss her for who she was not just the darned Hellyars..
Anyway.. she was the one told me about the Headstones..

So not sure if they still are cos that was at least 5 years ago.

xin

wish I could come down and search with you...

Hi Zinia Padstow has a Churchyard and a separate Cemetery which opened in 1881. Your ancestor must have been buried in St Petroc's Churchyard. I am planning to start photographing both the cemetery and the Churchyard for Find A Grave shortly  and will make a point of looking for your  photograph.

Hi Zinia
Visited Padstow to have a preliminary look and take some photographs. My husband and I walked all arround the boundary wall of the Churchyard and I am sorry but Mary Pope is not there. I photographed all the Headstones along the wall and they are on FAG. There is only one name
un- seeable?? because the headstone faced away but it is so big and heavy that I doubt that the churchyard men would  disturb it to  look on the front. If you look on John Tredwen you will see what I mean. I will carry on after my holiday.
The cemetery is quite big  I took some photos but it will need several visits.
Best wishes
Sandi P
