Timelines and Lifelines
« on: Thursday 12 July 18 09:52 BST (UK) »
I have been using Genes Reunited recently, and I do like their Lifeline, because it is blank at the start and I then add things to it.     I can take a photo from Keepsafe, (which will have a date on it,) and it can go easily onto the Lifeline in date order.    The only thing is that Genes Reunited often acts drunk - the page sticks or you have to fiddle about before you can get a Lifeline to show the correct information in the correct Lifeline.

I don't like Find My Past so much because they don't allow a photo to be added onto a Timeline the way that Genes Reunited does, and Ancestry isn't quite what I want.     I don't want a site that decides what goes on a Timeline.     I want to be the one who decides that.       I like the way Genes does it but people seem to be having problems (not just me) with its reliability.
