desktop pc doesn`t show MicroSd card
« on: Thursday 12 July 18 12:35 BST (UK) »
Windows 8.1.
I got a new Sandisk micro sd card with adapter. I`ve taken photos on my tablet, to check all is OK, unmounted it properly to try the adapter on my PC. I`ve never done this before.
There is nothing showing to say the card is there. The  little green light is flashing by the slot, but I can`t find it anywhere.
I found file exporer eventually and set it to  view photos with Picture manager, but am not sure really what I should be doing.

Can anyone help please.

I have two USB adapters. With one of them I occasionally have to slightly move the SD card to get the light on the USB adaptor to actually come on. I don't jiggle it about but just put a little bit of pressure on it.

It`s not a USB, just the card that goes into the slot.

I dont know, that shows up even when nothing in it, and when I click open it says insert a disc.
I tried to open with the card inserted and  just kept "loading" and nothing happened.
