Dumfries address
« on: Thursday 12 July 18 17:01 BST (UK) »
Yet again I have a document I can't decipher so I'm looking for help in identifying the death location of a relative who died in Dumfries in 1893.
The location is Dumfries ? Station but I cannot make out the middle word.
Any suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks for replying - my initial impressions were that it was HOUSE but I just couldn't be sure.
Samuel Stewart lived in Dumfriesshire & Ayrshire throughout his life but the last 2 years before his death he was a ploughman in Dumfries.

Looking at the T in Thirtieth, could it be Train Station rather than House Station.

Apparently Dumfries House railway station was a railway station near Dumfries House, East Ayrshire, Scotland. The station was originally part of the Annbank to Cronberry Branch on the Glasgow and South Western Railway.

It does look like House.

Thanks to all - I'm satisfied with the HOUSE suggestions which confirms my initial thoughts. I can't come up with anything else remotely close!
