To Hanes Teulu        what info did you insert please to get your resulting transcription.     M

I searched FindMypast parish burials for (a) first name "ellen" (b) year of death "1870" (c) location "north curry". It returned 1 hit - "buried 17 July, age 16". Your Ellen died 11 July.

Thanks everyone who replied:

I did not think of looking for burial results  - well done
How long - I wonder - since the amount of time a decd was sick has no longer been recorded ?
and MedPat   -  do your death certs relate to UK or not.
and again  AUS may give different details too.

They are all UK certs. I have only bought for my pedigree and none have left England.

Thanks again all and to MedPat,  I have now obtained a further 2 death certs of the same family members, one who died 13/2/1859 aged 2 yrs and one who died 17/2/1959 aged 9 months: both causes were Croupal Diphtheria:  one stating 7 days the other 21 days.   So you are correct.
