Where will they be?

I have Yorkes of Shenton area, who died in Shenton and are said to be buried in Shenton.

We have visited the grave yard and nothing.... found


Except ancient burials that may well belong..

So where else may they be ?

You also need to give some idea of the period you are interested in, have you considered a Municipal Cemetery, of if in the 20th century, cremation.

Perhaps the family couldn't afford a headstone?  I've spent many a happy minute gazing at a patch of grass in a churchyard, wondering if mine are lying beneath.

century is 1790 - 1890's  around and a bit each side...

Sibson, Dadlington, Stoke Golding.......all within 2 miles
