Trying to find more info on couple William James Colvin and his wife

I am trying to trace family from my smith side

William James Colvin is a son of James Colvin and Elizabeth smith he was born 1911
 in peterhead Scotland

He married williamina deans  Laing she was born in 1906 in Dundee to parents Ralph sharp Laing and Elizabeth old

On ancestry I found a tree stating her death in. 1996 in Canberra Australian Capital Territory , Australia

I think this couple left uk for Australia 29 October 1952
From London onwards to Sydney Australia onboard ship Maloja

Their previous home address was 27 Scott street Dundee , Scotland

Can anyone help me find out more on the couple , any help given is appreciated

In the 1963 NZ Electoral Roll, they are listed at 44 Rockfield Road, Onehunga, Auckland. He's a hairdresser, she's a Machinist.

In the 1972 NZ Electoral Roll, they are at the same address.

In 1975 William funeral service was held  at Purewa Cemetery & Crematorium on 5 Aug 1975 and his ashes returned to family. The funeral director was W H Tongue.

Could this be Williamina's death in Scotland?
Not all the criteria are a match according to your information.  Did you source her birth and parent's details from their 1936 marriage certificate as your birth dates differ to those given by Williamina on her Incoming Passenger Card to Aus in 1968.  Possibly she didn't wish to appear too much older than her husband

I seem to now think by your entry’s that Williamina died in Australia and William in New Zealand ,

I saw the info and Williaminas death on an ancestry tree and mentioned it to the first thread post

Is maybe why we can’t see her death as it was in Australia rather than New Zealand where her husband is recorded
The marriage of the couple was in 1936 in st Mary - St. Peter region of Scotland

I notice electrol rolls are mentioned does any of them
Mention other family members ?

Had a sister named Joan smith Colvin but can’t see a death of her in Scotland either
