Elizabeth Haywood - Marriage 1857
« on: Sunday 15 July 18 14:29 BST (UK) »
I've come across a marriage registration, Q1 1857 Kings Norton, between Elizabeth Haywood and John Stiff.

I only have the bare BMD reference.

Can anybody supply more details particularly Elizabeth's father's name?

Cant find Marriage with my resources.

Her Husband was John Timothy Stiff as you know amd on Census Elizabeth Stiff is born c 1837 Birmingham.

So likely the one Baptised to RICHARD/ANN Haywood 3 Oct 1836 St Martin.

Aaah someones Tree has them marrying 7 Jan 1857 and same Parents as I found. Mother nee GARDNER.
(given exact date they may have the Cert)
They have a photo of Elizabeth also c 1911 in Scotland.

Trish :)

Marriage Locator says it took place at Holy Trinity, Smethwick.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
