My father believes that there may be some big family secret in the past as his mother went by 2 names and possibly the surname of Phillips too . It’s a bit of a complex one I think !

In addition his mum moved him to Australia in around 1948 by boat and they travelling with a man called Charles Bolton who ended up my fathers step dad . It’s all a bit of a mystery .

Do you have a birth cert for your father?  If not you may wish to consider getting one.
