Mary Cunliffe b India c 1829, Harriet / Harriot b India 1831 and Alicia b Wrexham 1845.
They are in London 1871/81/91 but in Wrexham by 1911.  All unmarried.

Were they nuns?  They could have been in a nunnery or doing mission work that kind of thing.

Have you checked the address they were at in 1891 and 1911 to make sure not there?
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

1861 they are listed as being the daughters of a baronet.

1851
Robert H Cunliffe 66 born Chester
Susan E 44 born India
Mary 22 born India
Harriot 19 born India
Alicia 6 born Wrexham.

The bio of Robert Henry Cunliffe only mentions his sons

They were not short a penny or two, so perhaps they were on vacation in Italy or France at the time

hi,

Not sure about the "surplus" of money.

The Wrexham accomodation is "multiple occupancy".

The 3 ladies had passed on by 1921 (?) at very senior ages.

Where did Robert Henry C's money go after he passed on?
