3 burials with him are infirmary and 2 from the lunatic asylum so no clues.

Hi sorry last question from me,do you think it would be worth trying Leicester record office to find out if that’s him?i believe the county asylum is the one that became Carlton Hayes

I would email and see if they have any records of admission, it will possibly be an informant from the asylum that registered the death so worth asking what records they hold.

Good morning,i recieved a reply today from the record office stating that John Smith died 10 August 1892 and was admitted 19 March 1887.They have two documents on him including his case book so i will try to arrange for a family member to go in and have a look and see if its the right person
