Hi, any suggestions please, it's from a rural location but I genuinely have no idea what the occupation is , any suggestions gratefully received.  Thanks in advance- Richard

Edit: As Tony says, it's a shoemaker, not a cobbler. Wiki explains the difference.  :)

Karen and Tony have posted while I was typing; will continue as some benefit may accrue.

He's a Cordwainer; in essence a maker of shoes but with an implication that his products are higher-quality leather shoes.
