I do not have access to any USA records and it would be great if someone could let me have more information on their life in the USA, I do believe they had a daughter, called Harriett and this may well be the lady my mum met on her travels.

Here's a nice article about Harvey's travels after he retired. Does his sister's name " Mrs Drage " ring a bell?

Morning Olympian
Olympia, Washington
August 30, 1928

Olympia Man Returns
After Two Years Abroad

Mr. and Mrs. Percy Aucion have as their house guest Harvey Martin, former Olympia resident who has been in England and France for the past two years.

Mr. Martin visited a number of points of interest in the United States return, including Niagara Falls, Pike's Peak and Yellowstone National Park.

Mr Martin was accompanied on his return to the United States by his sister, Mrs Drage of England who is visiting relatives in Grandview before coming to Olympia.

Mr Martin plans to visit in Wenatchee and will spend the winter in California.

It appears the "Mrs Drage" is Harvey's sister Sarah. Also it appears Sarah's daughter lives in Washington State too. That would be the niece Mrs C.B. Ruchty, Grandview, mentioned in Harvey's obit.

It appears this Mrs. Ruchty is the "Great Aunt Ellen "Cissy" Cox" in the original post?
