 :)I am trying re locate  my grandfather death (alfred Andrew ), he was born in 1895 in hull,yorkshire,and then moved to doncaster with my late gran (olive may andrew (nee watson ) ,i wonder if you can please help me on this .

Yes I spotted that one -- although the family were in Doncaster in 1939.

His wife did die in Doncaster many years later in her 90s.

However if it was me I think I would be tempted to get that death cert just to confirm or 'eliminate from enquiries'. It may be that he was visiting relatives in Hull when he died, so his death would have to be registered there.

It's the most likely looking one at the moment.

Don't think it's the right one -- an Alfred Andrew who died April 1962 left a probate -- he seems to have lived in Kingston upon Hull (unless the couple had separated.)

I thought that the family were still in Hull prior to WW1  :-\

LancsAnn --- of course it was Hull in 1939 -- just having one of my many senior moments.

I had found the correct family because I remember all the children being on view --- why the heck I thought they were in Doncaster I've no idea. Apologies for any confusion.

what i can remember that they moved to doncaster after hull got bombed after the ww2 ?
