His Baptism has his parents as Charles & Eliza. The GRO states mmn as Sandbrook but no marriage found.

Hi,  my great grandad Charles James Newman married Twice the first marriage was to Eliza Salmon believe was sandbrook also,  they had a Charles James and Alice,

The war diary states that he died at Bracquement France which is about 5 mls. S. of Bethune.
The QM stores was hit by a shell & he was one of two that died as a result. This was 8am. on the 16/6/18.
