John De Busk - 8th July Sessions West Yorkshire
« on: Sunday 22 July 18 01:07 BST (UK) »

Hi Everyone

I have found a West Yorkshire Prison Record for my Ancestor John De Busk (Sheffield) -

He was committed to West Riding House of Correction on 8th July 1801 by H Parker Esquire.
Charged with being a deserter from the Breadalbine Fencibles and ordered to be imprisoned until his duty was discharges.

How would I go about finding the trial record?

Regards

Genni

The National Archives guide may help your search
http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/help-with-your-research/research-guides/criminals-and-convicts/
but note what it says in the introduction.  The section on the Records of the Justices of Assize would appear to be place to look.
That said, also note that most records appear to be later than 1801.  Good luck.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
