Help needed to decipher the name of this place in Caithness, shown on a 1740 baptism for Wick parish

near loch hempriggs there is a toftcarl - could this be a variant spelling for there?

I don't necessarily disagree with Roderick's suggestion, but I have concerns about the formation of the t and c and also about how far the f extends below the line.

Can we have a much larger clip of the handwriting, including other examples of these letters, please.

Many thanks for the answers, it's probably Toftcarle , as its near ?Thrumster Wick, and that is where my ancestors were living
