Vera's birth -

Vera Fox
q2 1916 Burnley
Vol 8e Page 406
Mother's maiden name - Sowden

Marriage -
Lena Sowden
q3 1910 Oldham
Vol 8d Page 1401

Interesting that Vera died in Scotland but her husband died in 2002, Ipswich. Perhaps he went to live with his son after the death of his wife, just a thought  :)

Hi
Andrew McIntyre Binning is most likely my 'paternal half-uncle' -  I've been constructing my family tree.  Andrew married Vera in 1946 at the Manchester Road Congregational Church, Nelson.

Andrew would have been born about 1910 or a bit later (would be nice to know his exact birth date), and inherited the business ‘Binning and Grant’ and was also a major in the Army (4th Gurkha Rifles).  Would be good to know more to add to my 'Binning' tree.
