Missing wife (Cape approx 1908)
« on: Tuesday 24 July 18 08:19 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to find any details about the first wife of my paternal grandfather, Victor Aylen Callcott Stevens (1887-1970). He was borne in Cape Town, and presumably he was married there. The family was apparently always very quiet about her. The had 2 children, William ("Billy") Stevens and Marjorie Stevens. Victor married his 2nd wife, Ivy Frances Goulding, in approx. 1930. Any info would be much appreciated.

There is a file on National Archives South Africa Site. Go to the line with TAB and search.
Found a second file by putting in Callcatt.
