Beguildy Parish Baptism Records

Hi Folks,

I am trying to find a birth for Jane Humphreys (circa 1820) who lived in Llanwnog, Montgomeryshire as Jane Evans for much of her life but on the census forms it shows her birthplace as Beguildy, Radnorshire. I am a member of FindMyPast and Genealogist but neither seems to have any parish baptism records for Radnorshire.

Does anyone know if they have them at the Powys Archives in Llandrindod Wells or can anyone tell me another source for Radnorshire Baptisms please.

Thanks so much Mary. I really appreciate your help. Now that you have posted that I have found the same record on Family Search which I had forgotten to look on previously.

NOTE TO EVERYONE

I have just this second checked on FindMyPast and birth records are all there for Radnorshire including Jane. I'm really sorry to have wasted everyone's time. I must have left a box completed from a previous search which made it impossible to find Radnorshire births.

Also has Baptisms of 2 children under HUMPHRIES;

I'm sorry I haven't been checking replies for a week or so. I had a binge in genealogy while my partner was away for a couple of weeks but the last week I have been being the attentive partner.

Anyway, after my faux pas re Radnorshire baptisms I did find Jane on 17/06/1821 but so far I have not followed up on her parents. Your lead is extremely promising as their names on the baptism were indeed

I see Jane married Llanfihangel Yng Ngwynfa, Montgomeryshire 1844.

Her Brother THOMAS was likely buried there 11 Jan 1843 age 19
Possible for the Mother MARY Humphries 03 Feb 1845 age 45
