Searching for WW2 POW
« on: Thursday 26 July 18 16:14 BST (UK) »
I've recently discovered through DNA that I am 50% Italian.  I was born just after WW2 and suspect that my birth father was an Italian POW as there were lots of them apparently in Bedfordshire where my Mum hung out. He also could've been an Italian American Serviceman.
My Mums name was Violet Potts nee Haskell and she came from Arlesey ,Beds.
If anyone on here has any really old relatives who might remember anything from back then I would be eternally grateful.
