« on: Thursday 26 July 18 20:00 BST (UK) »
Hello,
Thought l already done this post- sun is taking its toll lol
I have a man who puts profession as soldier, this is 1946.
He is shown as a minor. Do l assume under 21yrs Would be classed as minor?
I am interested to learn which regiment he would be in, any pointers as to who l would need to contact.
Thanks

A minor is indeed aged under 21.

Is the man British or Irish?
For anyone serving in the British Armed Forces after 1920, their records will still be with the MOD.
See: https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military-service-records

If he served in the Irish Military, I'm not sure any records are available?
