When I use the 'back' button I get the Unread Topics page with the difference being that the thread just viewed is NOT showing on the list whereas previously the exact same page was there.

Using W10, Firefox

If I use back button I get exactly what I had on that page.... nothing changed!

Thanks, hallmark. Will try it on Firefox when I get a minute and see if I get same results.

I went back 3 pages... then forward and it got me to this topic.....without your reply!  Then reloaded the page and your reply is there!

As expected!!

Using Firefox this time and seems to work as it always did. Like hallmark I am seeing exact same page when I know go back. So, possible Chrome or Windows has messed up something  ::)

Probably Chrome. Anything connected with google is a law unto itself, and getting worse with every update  >:(

The others are still playing catch-up, but we're slowly losing control of our lives as technology becomes 'smarter' . . .

I've never used Chrome and it's just taken over a minute to bring up the box to type in, after having pressed reply.  Couldn't get on Facebook at all earlier because of the same problems, just managed to get on and found I have been a great grandmother for over 7 hours.  I've been trying to get on to Facebook every day since the due date last Sunday and when I at last manage it, I find I'm the last to know about the baby.  Sad really, especially as included in her name, is my name as her dad (my grandson) says he has always looked up to me.

Many thanks for all the replies (and to Sarah for confirming it's not a Rootschat change).

P.S. congratulations, Lizzie (my youngest daughter's a Lizzie, too).
