As Sarah said previously, it's not a change to RootsChat. The behaviour remains that when a Rootschatter presses the back button on their browser, RootsChat doesn't require a refresh so the old page they were looking at remains. The old page is kept in cache by your browser.

I wonder if the available cache in your browser is affected by the number of other open windows (& tabs) and the amount of time passed since the page was last looked at?

Thanks for the reply, Trystan. The issue was there all the time no matter how many tabs were open, etc. and no difference in amount of time either.

Strangely enough, this morning it's bad to 'normal' and I get back to the identical page as previously  ;D

Regardless off what Browser one uses it depends on individual user's settings, what Cookies are stored etc, if and when Cache is cleared, etc etc so there is not 1 answer.

If, for example, I had similar problem, then suddenly everything is OK again for some unknown reason, it could simply be that I have a new cookie because old one expired...

One person can use X browser and everything is fine

Another person can use X browser and everything is not fine

But what individual settings are they using??

Often the "cures" remain a mystery and everything is fine again.

I "keep cookies until they expire"..if and when they expire I automatically get new cookie, old one gets deleted.

Maybe you just got a new cookie?

My last update was 5 days ago, the problem was still there after the update, then yesterday and today no problem.
The same thing happened a couple of years ago, it lasted a few weeks then corrected itself.

;D  Annoying!  The reason will probably remain a mystery!
