Where can I find any records relating to this man, joining up etc
 Born Machynlleth . Mid Wales ,
 I have his parents  and him in the census, but just can`t find him after 1911.

His service records are at the National Archive but they haven't been digitalised. you can get a copy but it's over £8.00 a page.

There is a report on the death of Arthur C Morris. He joined the Cheshire Royal Engineers soon after the outbreak of war. He was gazetted in 1916 to the Royal Welsh Fusiliers and transferred to the RFC in 1917, Before joining he had completed his articles as an estate agent on the Marquis of Anglesey estate. He was educated at County Schools, Wrexham.

Yes thanks, I have that and much more, just nothing about his army career

You'll either have to pay up for his service record which is going to be expensive or look at the war diary. At least that will tell you what he was doing 1916-17.
