1810 Norton marriage look up request

Thomas Rudduck married Mary Wing on 11 Dec 1810 in Norton, Suffolk.

Could someone look up this marriage and let me have the details please?

Hi,

Both are listed as "wid" at time of marriage in 1810.

The best I can give is a Thomas Ruddock married Mary Thursby (aged 30) 7-11-1797 in Norton St.Andrew and this lady was buried 17-10-1802 as Mary Ruddock (late Thursby, sp) also in Norton.

Taken from the SuffolkFHS  CDs.

The Mary Wing is a lttle harder as ther are many "Wing" burials and none that I could see in Norton.

I suspect the Thomas Ruddock that married Mary Wing is the same Thomas Ruddock (1746 - 1832) that married Elizabeth Reeve (1746 - 1809); both died in Norton. Thomas (and possibly Elizabeth?) was buried in St Andrew's, Norton. He would have been a widower in 1810, so that fits. Can you tell whether the marriage was in St Andrew's as that would make it even more probable?

The Thomas Ruddock that married Mary Thursby is the son of Thomas Ruddock and Elizabeth Reeve. He was born in Pakenham in 1774 and was 23 when he married Mary. I think he died in Norton in 1850. I found a possible second marriage to Rebecca Winter on 22 October 1810 in Norton (maybe St Andrew's?). I would be grateful if you could find any other details on this marriage.

If I'm reading you correctly, Thomas Ruddock married Elizabeth Reeve 6-4-1768 Market Weston St.Mary.
I can see a burial for an Elizabeth Rudduck who was buried 16-7-1809 aged 63 w/o Thomas (late Reeve) in Norton St.Andrew.

Yes - it was Norton ( my guess is St.Andrew) for the marriage in 1810 although the record only states Norton but I don't see any other place it could have been.

Yes, that is correct. I actually have 5-4-1768 for Thomas and Elizabeth's marriage, but the 5 could be a transcription error.

Is there any information on the marriage between Thomas Ruddock Jnr and Rebecca Winter on 22 October 1810?

Nothing in the transcripts other than listing Thomas being a "Wdr".
