Decipher names in this handwritten Ottoman land deed registry

I have a PDF copy of the Ottoman land deed registry for lands in Jerusalem from around 1900s scanned via microfilm



There's couple dozens of those pages, names are all on the 2nd column of the right page

Can someone help find a specific name within those pages?

What is the 'specific name' you are looking for?
It would be helpful if we knew - most of them seem to be written in 'english' script, with a couple in some arabic script at the bottom of the page you posted.

Hi Dan and welcome to RootsChat.....the most commonly occurring name seems to be Aboud Youssef Abdalla/Abdallah....Bin is added to the name also.

You might wish to change the title of this thread. The document is in English with a few entries in Hebrew and must, therefore, date from the Mandate period (1923-1948).

Unfortunately, the resolution is very poor, rendering the Hebrew near impossible to read. I can across the surname Eliashar (e.g. on p42), but that is the closest to Elisha that I could see. What makes you think that the Elisha family should be listed in this particular volume?

I think you should consider joining the Israel Genealogical Society.
