Moths at Underworld!
« on: Tuesday 31 July 18 09:34 BST (UK) »
Oh dear, moths in the underwear factory in Coronation St.!
Well unless the undies are made of wool or pure silk the moths won’t be a bit interested. But of course the  story will be carried out to its conclusion.
I keep saying I am going to stop watching it,I can’t keep up with all the bed hopping  :o.
Trouble is I have watched it from the first programme and even when living abroad we could get it ,albeit a few years out but being there twelve years we did not miss much.It is a sort of habit
I am waiting to see if anyone else notices ,having said that it is of such little importance most people couldn’t care less.
It is just that mis information should not happen
Perhaps it will all come out in the wash.Either that or the undies will be much more scanty than originally intended ;D ;D ;D

I confess to watching Corrie,Like you I watched the very first episode.
My first thought about the moths was they won't be interested unless they make wool knickers.

I think you will find they do indeed make silk Corsets, Basques and Knickers. Not so long ago Sinead and Alya designed them as they thought it time to go a bit more upmarket from the usual 'Nylon Knicks'  ;)

Moth designed undies ;D surely they could sell them for more money as each will be uniquely 'designed' ::)

The moths eat any natural fibre so if they make any cotton knickers they'd scoff them! The advice Daniel found on't tinternet was good, put the clothes in the freezer.

I love Corrie  :D :D

Well I did not know moths ate cotton,I lived in a cottage when small ,very rural and moths were a problem, woolly cardigans and jumpers were always moth eaten but never cotton bedding  towels or anything else cotton but as said on Corrie, there are very many different kinds of moth so we obviously did not have the same kind as those on Corrie.
Well Carla is up to,something ,saying to Daniel the moths will fly away!

Carla will be hoping this leads to Alya's failure. However, good old Kirkie's on the case! Coupled with his guilt about what he and Beth have done, perhaps he'll save the day.

Oh I'm such a saddo, will have to get on and do something meaningful!  ;) ;D

SPOILER ALERT.

'An important client inspects some of the underwear at Underworld that they have ordered, only to find it full of moth holes so cancels the order & Alya blames Daniel.'

Very quick workers those Moth larvae in Underworld, as it isn't the actual moth that does the chomping.

Roobarb I love Corrie too and wouldn't miss it for the world.

I'm also a Corrie fan. It's the only soap I watch now. I do agree about the bed hopping, I feel it shows a lack of imagination by the writers.
