Farrel McAdams and Margaret Moore

Hi, I am trying to trace the above people (my Great, great grandparents).  I think that Farrell was born prior to 1837. He married Margaret Moore - not sure when.  They did have a daughter called Ann who married a Peter Flannigan.  Peter and Ann had at least 3 children. Mary born 1852, Ann 1855 and Peter 1858.  Mary married a Michael Preston in Bellshill, Scotland in 1871.  Not sure I am even in the correct district, but any help would be great.
