Okay Jim thanks for that...there are two candidates...Thomas P. Andrew married Adela Atkin in 1917 or her Sister Elizabeth Annie Atkin who married Arthur Lambert in 1915. So thanks for the clarification as I thought this might be a pre-economy jacket and the lady is clearly married.
That helps a lot.
Thanks for your help  ;)

There is an Arthur Lambert Cambs. Regt. I'll see what I can dig out.
Edit:
No service/pension record I'm afraid. However he was originally Pte.6821 then when the TF were re-numbered (the Cambs. Regt. were all TF) in 1917 became 328132.
Edit again:
If you recall I said he was wearing a black button indicating a death in the family.
Arthur was in the 1st. Batt. also 3 others with that name, Robert, Frank & Sidney.
They all died aged 31, 21 & 23 resp. Are any of these related to Arthur?
Parents were:
Lilian Wilson
Ambrose & Anna
John & Rebecca. Parents of Frank. Frank had a brother Arthur.

The overseas chevrons: date of introduction?  This could be another clue about the date of the photo.

Wow thanks so much Jim...it does sound like it fits...The two Sisters look so much alike that I couldn't be sure which one it was...I will have a look...you are good  :-*
On his marriage cert. his Father is given as John...he married in Batley I think.
