1671 Will of Roger Hornblow of Thacham, Berks.

Would anyone agree that this is the start of a will for it seems rather different from anything I have yet seen? It is also more of a scrawl  too making it quite difficult to read. Thanks, Toby.

It has the look of a nuncupative will, dictated by the testator in an emergency, perhaps when he was close to death. It doesn’t appear to be a formal register copy.

Thanks for the help. I had assumed it was page '63' above 'day' because I had seen similar on other wills but perhaps i was wrong to do so. T

For a change, I am working on the inventory. Some words are quite easy but others are baffling me. Be glad of some help with the attached. T

What comes before A bed steed ? Is it perhaps A Ruge (rug?).

Thanks to you both. I feel that there is indeed another item between sheetes and bedsteed but lack the experience to say what it might be. Ruge does seem a possibility. T
