Slater Greengrocer van Staveley
« on: Thursday 02 August 18 10:17 BST (UK) »
We are trying to find information on the Slater greengrocery van that was serving the area of Staveley in Derbyshire around 1960-70's.  My husband can remember a man passing him a box of veg and being told to take to his gran (she was a Slater prior to marriage).

Most family when asked can remember the van but not who owned it.  Does anyone have information on this van or even an old photo please.
Fingers crossed - Sue

Write a letter to the local newspaper to ask if anyone has further information?
