Jut for fun...

I noticed your Gedmatch kit number and just for fun ran the "people who match one or both of us" program expecting nothing. There are ten people who have >= 10cM matches to both of us!!!

A006809
Thomas, Davies, Jones, Walters, Daniel in Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. That should narrow it down a bit!
Vincent: Fressingfield, Suffolk, Stockton & Sunderland.
Murtha/Murtaugh: Dundalk & Sunderland
Ingram: Cairnie by Huntly, Scotland then Abergavenny, Monmouthshire.
Bardouleau: London - in memory of my stepmother Annie Rose née Bardouleau who put up with a lot from me.

Diplodicus, cousin(!), that's why I put it there.

Names which appear frequently in my pedigree are Watson Loughborough Leggett Adamson Wilson Young Beasley Glassop Sedcole Sullivan.  Places are Corton in Suffolk, Hartlepool, Durham City, and the Bedlington area of Northumberland.

Re-Living DNA's pending partnership with FindMyPast and their  offer to "accept transfer of autDNA from Ancestry and FTDNA for a limited period"  which I think expires on 31st Aug.

Has anyone done this successfully? The link does not appear to be working now.

Yes,sorry the link works but I am obviously not doing something correctly.

I am trying to upload autDNA from FTDNA -( I am signed in) I get the "already tested  with another company" and it shows the red upload - cannot work out how to get the data(which is saved in "downloads"  to upload to Living DNA ???

Kim, I think that's a question for their help desk. Are you sure it hasn't successfully uploaded, meaning that the message you are getting is correct?  Have you very carefully read the instructions?

Thanks Martin - no, I do not get the feeling that it is completing,it goes from upload to filling in name and e-mail of person whose DNA it is then goes back to the Home Page!

I will contact them,hopefully get a reply before 31st !!

Update!

E-mailed LivingDNA yesterday(BH) reply today(quick or what!) to the effect that if you wish to upload another living adults' autDNA they have to open a seperate account themselves ,which is not quite what is implied in the blog where it says "you give the name and e-mail address of person and LivingDNA will e-mail them within 24hrs for thier consent"
