I can see among the Widows & Families arriving to NSW in January 1865 on the St Hilda:
Sarah CARTER, aged 40, a charwoman, Greenwich, Kent, Church of England, read and write
Henry CARTER, aged 12, labourer, Bermondsey, Kent, C of E, Read and Write
Millie CARTER, aged 10, Blackheath, Kent, C of E, Read and Write

I note that a George BAXTER is on the 1870 Electoral Roll for BRAIDWOOD.
