hi if u want maybe u can help me with another inquiry..but this time it has nothing to do with sweden or the hansson family... my grandmother's father richard matthews was born in hastings england, he married my great grandmother ella victoria smith on april 6,1921 in manitoba canada..ella's parents were rupert pruden smith and harriet louisa brown..anyways the matthews line is kind of a mystery...and there seems to be two seperate geneologies from different people about richard...the first geneology has him the son of edwin matthews and caroline purkis.. the second geneology i saw has him as the son of william matthews from battle, sussex, england and a mary ann holman.. now if he was the son of william and mary the info i got was..
