After a natural death in prison in 1932 how do I find out where that person is buried, please?

Do you know if the person had family around prior to being in prison, how long they'd been in prison, where his last abode was, where the family lived at the time of the prisoner's death & was it a family member who registered the death?

Many things to consider.

In the hills above our village, there stands - now somewhat derelict - what used to be the county lunatic asylum in the dim and not so distant past when mental health was less well understood.  Many of the people who died there are buried behind the chapel in what is now an overgrown area.  It is very sad that all the graves are unmarked, other than a war grave, and there are no records to say where specific people were laid to rest.  I am wondering if similar situations existed with prisons as well.  Sad times indeed.
