This is the full building, there are  a few more extensions and  barns , which makes then think it was a farmhouse.

It looks like a farm indeed.
Having looked at the Cussac Census (la Guionie is a very small hamlet) , all I have found is a couple Pierre Peltingeas ( also written Pelletingeas) and Georgette Reix, it could be the owners if they had put the initials of their family names on the right and the initials of their first names on the left : Pierre Georgette , Peltingeas Reix.

That`s amazing, she is really blown away by all this.
This is a link to the property let so you can see more of the surrounding. I don`t expect the interior was like this back then.  ;)

Mind you, the house built in 1906 isn't on the napoleonian plan of 1835.

Pierre Peltingeas was a farmer (census), I don't think that the stone relates with this occupation.

And perhaps the stone was added after the construction ( and that 's what I think), and we don't know by which owner , when and why . Maybe just because he found the stone at a secondhand goods dealer; he liked it , bought it and put it above the lintel.

ADDED: I found no old post cards , showing the rue du Vieux puits  .No one on Geneanet has  the couple , nor on Filae, nor on Heredisonline, unfortunately . It could be interesting to wait and see , occasionaly , if you can find a descendant (someone could have an old picture of the farm , you could see if the stone was on the wall and when)
