His daughter Catherine from Cork got married to William Thomas at the Church in Glyntaff in 1860. Sh is down as living in Treforest. I would love some more info, in particular to know where in Cork her dad will as from and where in Wales he may be buried d. Any info on the family would be great !

Is he on any Welsh census?

Have you checked freebmd for a death for him?  There is a death in 1872 for a Timothy Dillon aged 89 in Pontypridd

EDIT

In 1871 he is living with daughter and son in law John & Ellen Driscoll

Too much of a coincidence that they are all in Llantwit Fardre??

Wow thankyou so much for this. This definitely looks like my man. It would have made him quite an old father but I suppose that is probable. I cannot thank you enough. Have you any idea how I can trace him back to Ireland?

Kind regards

Emma

Do you think Daniel may be his brother?

Thankyou so much for the swift response

Denis and siblings could well be related to Timothy, but not directly as their Catherine is different from Timothy's daughter
