Manuel Rues
« on: Wednesday 08 August 18 21:00 BST (UK) »
 Hello,
Manuel Rues, married Jane Molloy in Liverpool in 1893. They had one child, Catherine, born in 1897. I'm looking for any information re Manuel. I can't find any records pertaining to Manuel, before or after his marriage. The story that's been passed down is that he died overseas or was 'lost at sea'. This would have been before 1901 because his wife Jane is described as a widow on the census returns of that year. All help will be much appreciated.
                 Many Thanks

Does the 1893 marriage cert show him as a mariner?

How old was he on the marriage cert

What is his fathers name

Hello Carole.
I am awaiting delivery of the marriage cert. In the meantime, I thought I'd post the information re Manuel Rues, just in case I'd overlooked something, or, a living descendant spotted it and contacted me. A long shot indeed, but you never know.
                        Many Thanks
