As far as I know, polish registry offices have records guarded by privacy law:

Births: 100 Years
Marriages and deaths: 80 years

After this period they are handed over to the archives.

If i was you, i´d contact the Archive in Warsaw stating what you are looking for (Names, Places, etc), why you think you are elligable to receive this info, and ask their advice as how to continue.
