Here is a lovely obit to Luke MURPHY which is very informative.  Father of Joseph MURPHY, dentist Sydney.  He died in 1915

adding : It says Luke MURPHY arrived Victoria 60 years ago.  He belonged to a well-known Irish family in Co Carlow, one of his ancestors was Fr MURPHY of Vinegar Hill fame.  His wife Margaret McCaffrey was a native of Lungar Co Down Ireland.
He was 82 years of age (from Vic BDM)
