Interestingly Charlotte Parkin turns up in 1911 Census in  Mansfield where Annie is living.

1901 census was wrongly transcribed for Charlotte Smith - I had added it to a pervious post
but here it is again

1901 RG13; Piece: 3123; Folio: 57; Page: 11 – The Village
Charlotte Parkin Smith 53 S Balderton, Nottinghamshire monthly nurse
Kate Smith dau 19 Normanton on , Nottinghamshire
John Smith son 13 Normanton on Trent, Nottinghamshire
Ernest Smith Gd son 4 months

Charlotte's surname is Smith not Parkin on original census the person above is named Charlotte Parkin

Could Annie Smith be the same person in the 2 separate 1881 census entries I have found? (One with Francis in Newark and the other with Charlotte)

These look to be the birth entries of Kate & John on GRO indexes again no mmn given

SMITH, JOHN       -

Oh yes there they are I didn't look at the original.........

I can't find any entries on GRO indexes for birth c1871 of Annie Smith mmn Aldridge, only the two 1871 entries with the same vol & page number with mmn left blank but I did find Francis & Ann's son Jesse

SMITH, JESSE    mmn ALDRIDGE
1869  S Quarter in NEWARK  Volume 07B  Page 314

Edit

You can order birth certificates form GRO and receive them as a PDF

Applications for PDF’s cost £6, must be made online and include a GRO index reference

They were unable to process my application for Annie’s birth and refunded my money

??? Did they give a reason?

1892  marriage certificate you have for Annie Smith with her father’s name left blank

Does it give her age?

Does it give an address for Annie?

Does she have an occupation?

Did Annie & Betsey Smith sign their names?

Who was the other witness?

Re: Betsey SMITH the witness difficult need to try and establish if she’s her sister or some other relative

so will try and  see if I can find any more on this Betsey

1881 RG11; Piece: 3304; Folio: 56; Page: 1 - Village Street
Charlotte Smith   31 Balderton, Nottinghamshire charwoman
Annie Smith   10 Balderton, Nottinghamshire
Betsey Smith   6   Balderton, Nottinghamshire
Thomas Smith   3   Marnham, Nottinghamshire
