Where is this memorial?

Hello,

I wonder if anyone recognises this memorial monument and can tell me where it is?

It probably doesn't show well in the scan but engraved on the top panel is 'Delhi' - there is also something engraved on the lower panel but I can't read what it says on the photo.

The couple stood in front of it are my 2x Great Grandparents, Edward (1861-1935) and Alice (1864-1949). They lived near Croydon in Surrey and seem to have mainly visited seaside places in Kent and along the south coast. But they did also have relatives in north Wales and Anglesey. If that lends any clues.
