Eric Guy Hampden GREEN

Born 1899 India, Indian Army 1922-1932, back to UK 1939 living in Harrow London, died St Andrews House Oakwood Hospital (mental) Kent, no records (all lost) of his death or when he entered Hospital. Can any one fill in gaps please.   Ian

I would think the death registration posted by Rosie 99 is most certainly the correct one
Only purchase of the death cert will give cause of death

I would be surprised if mental health records are available for him at the moment.  Many of these are restricted and only available after a set number of years

Do you have his army records? I see mentions of his various promotions in newspapers, and of his retirement:

"Capt E G H Green retires on account of ill-health; July 9, 1928"
The Daily Telegraph, Saturday, July 14, 1928

Also:
"The following pupils of Cheltenham College have been successful in the several entrance examinations named:- ...
Indian Army Cadetships, Wellington ... E G H Green"
Cheltenham Looker-On, Saturday, April 7, 1917
