A possible?

Kate Parker
Q4 1900
Age at Death:    37
Pancras  Volume 1b, p98

There's a Kate Parker around the right age admitted to the workhouse/infirmary a couple of times in 1898 & 1899 . Very few details though

That would be interesting, and sad, that she and her father both died in a workhouse.  Thanks for that lead...I'll work on it.  That certainly would explain why she is not appearing in subsequent census records after George Thomas Parker died.

May I ask from where you got the data about the workhouse?  I'm going to research that a bit more.  Was it from a census record?

Ancestry has some workhouse/poor law guardian records for London. Not sure what level of membership gains you access to these, and not all are indexed.

I don;t know that she died in a workhouse, just that someone of the right name and approximate age (give or take a few years) in the right area was admitted and discharged, and not much later there's a death registered of someone of the right name and approximate age.

Well you have certainly given me a few leads that I'll try and follow.  I appreciate your direction.  Someone once told me that "genealogy is mythology if it's without documentation".  Thanks so much!
