which helped me decipher the camp nos which were stamped in Japanese characters
and I spent days on this site to find out more about the camps

A thousand thanks for the links.

If I were searching for my own relative I would follow them all up, but as the War Memorial project involves nearly a hundred names and has to be completed before the Armistice centenary I just don't have the time to go into that level of detail (I truly wish I did  :'( )

I will add the links to the project appendix to help any interested relative or descendant with research.
