1881 - Elizth Jane Steward, 16, Servant, born Cockfield in HM Prison Winchester! Not as a prisoner though.

Also in Winchester in 1881, Elizabeth J Steward, 16, Housemaid, born Cockfield, Suffolk, in West Hill
(piece 1231 folio 40 page 30)
So enumerated twice?

Disregard the 1907 marriage I found - that Elizabeth J Gray married George Clark - details are on his army record -they had 4 children and lived in East ham - but Elizabethwas b c 1888

Thanks everyone for all the help and suggestions. Part of the research problem originally arises as the 1871 census of Cockfield on Ancestry seems to have been put on line with Cross Green, Cockfield missing the page with the Stewart family on it.
A roots chat contributor posted 'It is on page 2 of the return which is missing on Ancestry   27 pages but only 20 images'.

Just to add a further point to the discussion, I am convinced that Elizabeth Jane Steward who married W Gray is the one born in 1865 in Cosford district which covers Cockfield. I have noticed that one witness to the marriage was William Henry James Boldero, at that time a draper in Wimbledon. William Henry James Boldero was born in Great Ashfield which is only 3 miles from where Elizabeth Jane's mother was born.
