Elizabeth Jane Steward was born in Suffolk in 1865. She married Walter Gray in May 1882 at Wimbledon. He was a publican of Thames Ditton.

You may want to alter your records slightly as Elizabeth did not marry Walter Gray in 1882 but in 1883 and Walter was not a publican at the time of marriage -although his father was'

there is a marriage reg for Elizabeth J  Gray Sept qtr 1907 west ham  you can look up the names of the others on page on FreeBMD
Thinking about it -if Elizabeth did remarry I think it would be a reigstry office marriage as I  think at that time marriage of a divorcee in Church was not allowed

The divorcee Elizabeth would seem to have been registered as just Elizabeth in Samford, Suffolk in 1865.

Another possibility might be Jane Elizabeth Steward, registered Cosford, June 1865 (mmn Hilder)
Baptized at Cockfield, 25 June 1865, parents William + Sarah Victoria
Seems to be Elizabeth J in 1871 in Cockfield (age 6)
1881 - Elizth Jane Steward, 16, Servant, born Cockfield in HM Prison Winchester! Not as a prisoner though.

Had a sister Ellen Sarah.
Haven't seen the father William Steward as a butcher though, Farmer was the nearest.

Disregard the 1907 marriage I found - that Elizabeth J Gray married George Clark - details are on his army record -they had 4 children and lived in East ham - but Elizabethwas b c 1888
